Cabaret Mechanical Marvels is an interactive journey into the wild and wonderful world of automata. Step into the realm of imagination that seamlessly weaves science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics into the enchanting universe of automata, creating a captivating showcase that celebrates mechanical artistry and innovation for visitors of all ages.

Founded in 1979 as a small craft shop in Cornwall, Cabaret Mechanical Theatre collaborated with local artists specialising in creating and selling handmade automata. Its international reputation and community quickly grew, helping to define automata as a craft genre, with its significance recognised by Crafts Council of Great Britain. Today, Cabaret Mechanical Theatre tours its extensive collection of automata inspiring future generations of automata makers.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Great Yarmouth, Cabaret Mechanical Marvels features hands-on mechanical exhibits and original artefacts, show-casing exhibits from some the finest contemporary automata makers, including Ron Fuller, the well-known toy-maker and artist who lived and worked in Suffolk.
